Location: The Cabin Coffeehouse Downtown, Bemidji
March 1, 2017 @ 11:30 AM-1:00 PM

What is Bemidji Truth & Reconciliation?
Bemidji Area Truth, Healing, and Reconciliation Initiatives are a grassroots, community-driven effort to promote truth-seeking, healing and change with an initial focus on increasing understanding and building relationships among our area indigenous and non-indigenous communities.

Bemidji Area Truth and Reconciliation's monthly event, Courageous Conversations About Race, utilizes the Courageous Conversations protocol and includes a set of tools including agreements, conditions and a compass to help guide the process.

Trained facilitators Anton Treuer and Colette Dahlke guide the conversation using this protocol.  All are welcomed and encouraged to attend; no prior experience necessary.

We are supposed to take interest in such activities which are meant to provide the safety to the nature around us. I am really interested to be the part of the act you have been doing.
